Biographical information:

Since school, I've been... Playing Tennis for Queen City League, coached softball for Idlewild Booster Club, traveling, worked for LaMarick Beauty System for a long time. I am supposed to be retired, but have been helping my youngest brother in the administration of his (3) companies....finally no real stress.

My family: I married Ernie Holder, class of '56 and we will celebrate our 50th anniversary in November of this year. We have (2) children, Kevin, who has his own realty company and Robin, who has her own freight forwarding business (with 5 employees). Kevin & his wife,Karen have given us (3) wonderful grandchildren...Harrison,12..Morgan,10 and Liesl,8

Life experiences: Having cancer and almost not discovering it in time, the doctors told me that another 3 months and it would not have been fixable. I had (1) recurrence, but did catch it early. I now have a totally different perspective on life and the importance of enjoying it and the people in my life, now..while I have the opportunity to.

My favorite things in school: Watching my big brother, Jim play football with the school team. Dancing with my brother Snookie, and sitting and talking with my friends at the Rambler, and of course, dating my future husband, Ernie.

My favorite things now: Spending lots of time with my grandkids, soccer, dancing, horseback riding lessons, etc. I love to go to yard sales, estate sales or just shopping with Ernie (Saturdays belong to us only) I love to throw dinner parties. I also love to write and when time permits, paint.

My favorite books, movies and music: I have always liked fun movies, especially Disney. I enjoy reading, but prefer audio books now and the only music I don't like is hard rock crazy stuff. other than that, I listen to some music every day.
