Since school, I've been... Wingate University and UNCCharlotte..studied business and then the Real Estate bug hit me and I started taking every Real Estate course I could find. I took summer classes and studied Real Estate and business law etc. I received my Real Estate license in 1964 and the rest as they say is history.

My family: Dated a lot until 1968 when I fell in love and got married. We were married for nine years before we were blessed with children. I have two incredible sons, Dean, with a degree in GIS eng., mapping and analysis and works as an analyst/programer for Char. Meck. Utilities and Christopher, Masters in Elec. Eng. Technology and works in Charlotte for Work Smart, Inc. a computer tech company. The boys were born in 1978 and 1980 respectively. My marriage ended in 1990 but I wouldnt trade or change anything... My dad passed away in Oct. of 2000 and mom April 21, 2007...this has been very tough. I also have siblings, a brother Jim and his wife Hedy and their three daughters, sister Debbie Thevaos and sister Stephanie Thevaos and her two children and three great nieces and a great nephew.

Life experiences: Marriage (it was great while it lasted),Ive done some traveling,have been involved in different charitable and social organizations including my church which is Greek Orthodox. I have been involved in church life since I was very young including teaching Sunday school for a short time, serving on different committees, serving on the parish council and as vice president of the parish council and serving as chairman of several charitable organizations. My greatest life experiences are my sons...I just cannot imagine life without them. I am currently single (never remarried) but I have had some serious relationships. I just like my life as it is and enjoy my family and friends and meeting new people.

My favorite things in school: My motto then was dont study just have fun. Drive fast cars, date and buy clothes and go to Myrtle Beach, Litchfield Beach or Pawleys Island. Im not sure of the order here????

My favorite things now: I am still very active in Real Estate and was associated with one of Charlottes oldest highend Real Estate firms..Bissell Hayes Realtors for 29years and just recently moved to Helen Adams Realty (also an old Charlotte high end firm). I love my work and I have been a consistent top producer. I enjoy family, reading, politics, religion, watching Fox news, walking, dinner with friends and family, buying clothes (nothing really changes), going to the beach and the mountains and I love pro golf and tennis (spectator only). I might add that also among my favorite things of late is to surf the internet. I have located old friends via the internet and we email constantly..its been great. I still have contact with some old school friends and we meet on occasion.

My favorite books, movies and music: Favorite movies are anything biblical plus Imitation of Life, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Godfather I and II, Hustler, Giant, Cassidy and Sundance, Gone With The Wind, Saving Private Ryan, Legends of the Fall, A Time To Kill, Midnight In The Garden Of Evil etc. My favorite books other than the Bible would be a mirror of some of my favorite movies. As far as music goes...I am never without it. I enjoy all types of music but mostly light classical, easy listening, some rock (not heavy), some classical and opera if it has spirit, and Greek, Latin and some country but very little.
